A new client at a CPA firm starts with the same stack: an engagement letter, a power of attorney when you will speak to the IRS for them, and an e-file authorization before you transmit the return. Most of that still leaves as a PDF, gets printed, and comes back as a scan. A digital signature on that PDF is what comes back instead.

Form 2848, Power of Attorney. Upload the current IRS form and send one link. We do not file it to the IRS for you.

How it works

Questions
Does the IRS accept a FillFaster signature on Form 2848 or 8879
FillFaster returns a signed PDF and an audit trail. Whether a given IRS form allows an electronic signature, and which standard it requires, is set by the IRS instructions for that form. We do not submit the form.
